Here are some tips you can try to fix overheating problem on your OnePlus 11 series.
1. Reboot your phone
The first thing you must do when your phone overheats is to immediately power off your phone. This will abort all processes running on your phone and and free the CPU and the memory that may be working overtime causing your phone to overheat. Once the phone cools down, you can restart it again to continue using it.
2. Close background apps
Most of the time you don’t realize what your phone is doing in the background. Majority of apps by default tend to run behind the scene to update or fetch new data even while you are not using them. This can not only drain your phone’s battery but can also lead to overheating.
To prevent background app from running, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Battery
- Tap on Advanced settings
- Tap on Optimise battery usage
- Now select the app you want to optimize or restrict from running in the background
3. Don’t run multiple apps
Running multiple apps simultaneously is one of the primary reasons for slow performance of your device. Not only does it affect on your phone’s performance but it also drains battery unnecessary and can lead to overheating. 4. Turn on power saving mode
